Student sales
Sales run by the students through the year. What a student sells is credited to their own account and goes against trip and uniform costs.
See the salesThe parents and families behind the Warrior bands. Nobody is asking you to take on a job. Come to a meeting, bring an idea, and be part of what your student is part of.
If you are part of a band family, you are already one of us, and coming to a meeting is the whole ask. Nobody needs to read music, and nobody is signed up for anything by walking in. Come to hear where the money goes and what is coming up, come with an idea, come to be part of what your student is part of.
Some people end up volunteering for things. Most people just show up, ask questions and vote, and that is what keeps this going. Meetings are open to every band family, every time.
Dates and times come from the band calendar, the same one the schedule and the phone feed read, so a change made once is a change made everywhere.

The school supplies the base: the instruments, the uniforms, the buses. The Wilson Area Band Boosters, a 501(c)(3) run entirely by parents and families, pick up the rest. If a performance or a show needs more than marching and instruments, that is us.
We work the games and the competitions: moving the equipment, in a trailer the Boosters own, helping the kids in the stands, and backing up the director and assistant directors through every performance.
Uniform fittings and alterations. Instrument replacement when it is needed. Water and snacks. Tour shirts. Whatever a show calls for that the school does not supply.
Every two years the band travels. The Boosters support the trip, coordinate it and raise the money for it.
Awarded to graduating seniors at the end of every year, funded by what the Boosters raise.
Two programs bring in most of what the Boosters spend on the band. Neither needs a volunteer. They need families who use them.
